THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PRE-POST PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR CAE IN INJECTION MOLD

In this paper the functions and characteristics of pre-processing and postprocessing system for computer-aided engineering (CAE) of plastic mold is discussed in detail. A system is realized according to the finite element and boundary element approaches.This pre-processing and post-processing system not only satisfies the requirements in plastic mold CAE but also has general purpose.It can create or modify model easily and can be used in other applications which use pre-processing and post-processing in CAE system.
