  • This paper is mainly about the study on differential pulse code modulation for image coding based on wavelet transform.Form point of view of image pyramid algorithm for the discrete wavelet,the principle of wavelet transform for image compression is explored.The result of computer simulation has shown that DPCM for image coding based on wavelet transform is better than that of reference4's.
