Modeling of Impact Compactor and Its Working Process Simulation

A lower body array approach for describing multi-body system is introduced and applied to an impact compactor．The machine is modeled with Mechanical Desktop and analyzed with Working Model 3D．The motion characteristics of various parts are obtained in the form of curves．The results can offer some references to the design and production of the machine．
