A Framework for Lighting Detection and Scene Rendering in AR Environment

  • This paper proposed a dynamic light detection method for marker based augmented reality (AR) system.It builds a detection model based on the relationship between the irradiance of the ARToolkit markers and the real light.This model can generate virtual lights to simulate the real lights gradually,is implemented in a scene graph based augmented reality development framework.Experiments with one and two lights show that the virtual lights estimated by this method can generate consistent effect in the real environment.
