CMDS——A CHARACTER-MASK DESIGN SYSTEM

The design and implementation of Character Mask for slogans are illustrated in this article.On the basis of the curve-outlined character libraries and the″isolated island″connecting technique,CMDS can automatically or interactively create many kinds of character mask of various font and size with different stroke thickness. CMDS has greatly improved the quality of Character-Mask and the efficiency of mask-making.
