Computer Aided Analysis System for Flight Accident Investigation

  • Point objects are used to describe the historical key features of an accident process, namely the accident scene, flight path points, and wreckage locations. Information from the flight data recorder, cockpit voice recorder, radar records, and view of eyewitness at the same instant are collected and annotated on the accident process diagram to facilitate the investigation of accident cause. AutoCAD MAP is used to develop the graphical functions for generating the summarized accident process diagram and wreckage distribution diagram, providing a visualized, accurate, complete and ordered record of the occurrence and course of the accident.
