Automatic Generation and Management System for Graphical User Interfaces

An overview of the characteristic, structure, history and existing state of the UIMS is presented briefly. The Secheim model of user interfaces and the UIMS model suggested by P. Tanner & W. Buxtor are introduced. Some issues in UIMS development and reaserch are proposed. We have developed an automatic generation and management system for graphical user interfaces on the SUN workstation. In this paper, some idea abont this system are discussed.
