Loop Detection in 2D Drawings Based on Node Pretreatment

  • Loops are the basic elements for feature recognition.These normal loops would provide useful intermediate description for the further interpretation of drawing,e.g.2D/3D feature extraction and process planning.For every node shared by more than 2 edges,construct an edge list in the order of increasing inclination angle with respect to x-axis.This pretreatment accelerates the detection of all existing loops in the drawing.
