RESEARCH ON WORK MODE IN COOPERATIVE DESIGN

Cooperative Design is an important field of CSCW.It needs individuals,having varying skills and experience,in widely dispersed georgraphical locations,work together synchronously or asynchronously.Then,efficiency and reliability of Cooperative Design have been more and more important.This paper defines the concept“Work Mode”and explains its meaning and importance to efficiency and reliability of Cooperative Design.By analyzing CW Agent,a prototype of Cooperative Design,the principles,methods and language for building Working Mode are presented.Finally,the paper presents some involved fields of the research.
