A Research on Simulation Optimization Platform Based on Virtual Environment

The paper puts forward a simulation optimization platform oriented to manufacturing system, and builds up its framework based on the model and algorithm separation principle. Besides, the simulation optimization subsystem and the virtual modeling environment subsystem are also introduced in the paper, and a new hybrid optimization algorithm based on genetic algorithm is brought forward to drive simulation and optimization engine. Based on the study above, a simulation optimization platform called SimOpt system oriented to manufacturing system is developed. Finally, an example is given in the paper to validate the system.
