The Development of CIMS & CAID and the Information Constitution of CAID

Computer Aided Industrial Design is being proposed to be included in CIMS as an indispensable component.The role of CAID in CIMS,its information structure and integration mechanism are analyzed.CAID information is divided into two kinds： explicit and implicit.New and valuable arguments are set up to improve the information integration of CIMS.
