A Novel Design Automation System-SZDAS-1

To develop a large, complex and high-performance computer system, we require a design automation tool of superperformance. For this purpose, recently we have designed an automation system-SZDAS-1. This is an automatic integrated design system from logic design to physical design, which is based on central data base. This paper briefly describs the structure, the function and the main features of the system, and also presents some new ideas for the future development.
