Computational Approach to Correcting Lenses of CPT for HDTV

Abstract
Comprehensive factors affecting lens geometry have been taken into account. Geometric parameters of original lenses and landing error of test CPT were measured by using high precision instruments. A fast and accurate algorithm is applied to compute a great deal of sample points for correcting lenses. Computer program for reverse design and modification of lens geometry is proposed. The result shows that the design methods satisfied the requirements of CPT to be used for HDTV.
