TOOLPATH GENERATION FOR POCKETS BOUNDED BY FREEFORM CURVES BASED ON THE VORONOI DIAGRAM

Voronoi diagram is an important structure in the field of computational geometry．In this paper，the tool path generation algorithm for arbitrary pockets based on Voronoi diagram is presented．T his method has been applied for the pockets bounded by the freeform curves for the first time，which is a successful example for the application of the Voronoi diagram in the field of pocket machining．
