  • The strain energy is a deformation measurement of elastic continuums.For an isotropic elastic material,the strain energy is a function of the strain tensor invariant.By this consideration,some expressions for triangular,quadrangular,tetrahedron and hexahedron element qualities can be derived.It is more rational and more logical to construct these expressions in such a way.
