Research on Web-Based Design For Assembly System

An integration framework of web-based design for assembly (WebDFA) system is proposed in the paper, where the DFA analysis procedure and evaluation system are designed. With the application of Java and web technology, a Web-based DFA prototype system is constructed. The system provides functions of assembly analysis and evaluation for engineers in a distributed environment. A case study is further given to illustrate the effectiveness of the system.
