A Novel Algorithm for Computing the Area Formulation of Simple Irregular Polygons with Arc

This paper presents a novel algorithm for computing the area formulation of simple irregular polygons with arc based on the requirements of the house estate management department. The algorithm proposed has two advantages over other algorithms, higher precision and more comprehensible area formulation. Distinguished from other algorithms, it is able to process the irregular polygons with arcs. This algorithm has been successfully implemented in the “intelligent house area check and proportion CAD system”, applied in the department of Haining house estate management, Zhejiang province.
