CUTTING AND PASTING GENERATIVE FEATURES

This paper presents a generative feature-based design methodology that supports feature's cutting & pasting. The designer can cut down one portion of the constructed generative feature-based design, and paste them at other place to design a new product model. This methodology supports reusing the constructed model, defining feature-based standard part library interactively and designing with these standard parts.
