ZD-SKETCHER: A PARAMETERIZED AND SKETCH-BASED DRAFTING SYSTEM

ZD-SKETCHER is a new engineering drafting system which supports the sketching and variational design. With the aids of the new design concept and a method compatible with real design practices, the design performance and the design quality are improved greatly. The general principle, the internal data model and the basic working process of the system are discussed in this paper.
