Abstract
In the high level synthesis, scheduling and allocation are dependent on each other. Scheduling may be done before, after or at the same time as allocation. In this paper, scheduling is done before the allocation. In the meanwhile, an iterative improvement strategy is put forward, which under the condition of not increasing the number of the function units, considers the interaction of the scheduling and allocation to reduce the number of the storage and the connections and decrease the cost of the design.
