  • The surface representation in discrete form and its differential computation are important issues in computer graphics and geometric design.This paper gives a detailed review and systematic experimental comparison of recent 7mean curvature estimation methods and 4 Gaussian curvature estimation methods, their respective errors statistics are also obtained and analyzed.The best method for the Gaussian and mean curvature estimation is figured out as well as some new more stable and accurate estimation expressions.
