Generating Visual Hulls from Freely Moving Camera

In this paper,multiple images acquired with a hand-held camera are used to generate visual hull models.The camera can be freely moved while taking the images,and the corresponding image features are further used to determine the position of the camera.Consequently,realistic models of largescale outdoor scenes can be obtained with our method.Practice shows that the results are correct and reliable so as to meet the requirements of virtual reality applications.
