Multi-Agent Conflict Resolution in Cooperative Design

  • Conflict caused by multi-agents involved in a design is one of the key problems in cooperative design, but traditional researches often focus on domanial conflict detection and resolution. This paper studies the systematic resolution mechanism of conflict occurrence, prevention, detection and resolution from the view of design flow and system architecture. Based on this, a three level model of conflict resolution and the corresponding strategies of each level are proposed in detail. Conflicts are controlled effectively both in control level and domanial level. The model and methods were implemented and verified in a motorcycle cooperative conceptual design system (MCCDS), which establishes a steady ground for intelligent design and cooperative design.
