CREATIVE DESIGN BASED ON COMBINATION PRINCIPLE FOR CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

The research on creative design is a focused problem on the field of advanced manufacturing and automation in resent years．And the conceptual design is the key phase for the product creativity．Nowadays，the research on creative design and conceptual design still lies in preliminary phase．This paper analyzes the creative thinking and all kinds of creative methods during the process of conceptual design，and develops a new method of creative design for conceptual design，which based on combination principle．The detail realizing technologies are also elaborated．Finally，the paper introduces a creative design toolkit in our product conceptual design system ——PCDS I．
