Design and Implementation of Navigation System Based on GIS Component MapX

GIS components that provide specific services allow application developers to assemble them quickly to make their own business systems. Air\borne navigation system can help pilots make decision correctly, reduce flight risk, and make flight a pleasure. Surface analysis is the key of air\borne navigation system, in this paper, seed-based area expansion algorithm is proposed to speed up surface analysis.
