A Cardiac MRI Tag Tracking Method Based on Deformable Grid Model

The paper proposes an algorithm based on the deformable grid model to track the tag grid. The algorithm tracks the tag intersections directly by the nodes of the grid model, and applies the greedy algorithm to minimize energy function that allows a rapid execution of the algorithm. The method was tested on several sequences of cardiac systole MRI. The test result indicates that the algorithm can promote the tracking speed while keeping a precise tracking.
