Calculation of Pre-defined Attributes in VHDL-AMS Simulation

  • VHDL-AMS has provided behavioral level modeling and simulation method for mixedsignal system design.Four methods to calculate all new pre-defined attributes in VHDL-AMS simulation are discussed,in which two basic methods———direct method and formulation method that come from the language reference manual are introduced concisely,while the hybrid approach of direct and formulation method,as well as the calculation solution of converting an attribute to a BLOCK statement are introduced and discussed in detail.Large numbers of experiments show that all pre-defined attributes extended in VHDL-AMS can be calculated accurately and rapidly utilizing the proposed methods.
