Product Model Supported by Axiomatic Design in Conceptual Design

A Domain Structure Template，which combines functional domain，physical domain with behavior domain is proposed for product modeling in conceptual design．The mathematical representation of the Domain Structure Template based on mathematical logic is established，which makes it possible to express and automatically operate the product model．A case study for a high speed sewing machine is described to illustrate the application of Domain Structure Template and the subsequent schemes generation based on the product model．
