OML-Oriented Evolution of the Ontology

Ontology is the bridge of knowledge sharing and reuse. However, unchanged ontology is unable to copy with new status of changeable knowledge, so study of ontology evolution is of importance in this regard. Based on an introduction to OML, this paper analyses the key issues of ontology evolution, introduces the solution method, and analyses the potential impact imposed by ontology evolution, and accordingly, a framework EDOCOM is proposed for ontology evolution.
