  • First of all，the procedure and methods of the implementation of the STEP neutral file are introduced，and the EXPRESS representation for the geometric and non-geometric entities of a 2D engineering drawing are also discussed．Then their mapping methods to STEP neutral file are presented．Finally，the advantage and disadvantage of the STEP neutral file are analyzed．
