Three-Dimensional Landform Data with Texture Information Hiding Technique

  • In this paper, a method of information hiding technology is introduced for protecting 3-D landform data where the information of elevation is hidden in the texture. Keeping the terrain figure and hypsography, the terrain information is compressed in low bit ratio. We present a method to build the wavelet coefficient set which can embed hidden information. The strength of the embedding data is image-adaptive according to the wavelet quantization noise, with the maximum strength of just noticeable distortion tolerance of human visual system. We construct Hash one-way by the Rabin method, and the arithmetic can be fully open to the public.
