Inverse-Transformation of Gauss Projection in GIS Based on Floating Coordinate-system and Dynamic Iteration

  • To improve the accuracy of large floating point number calculation, an iterative approach of inverse transformation for Gauss projection with floating coordinate system is presented. The implementation process and concrete algorithm are illustrated. Its application in soil-erosion GIS system is attached as an example.
