KBE-Based Mold Cavity Design System

To integrate design information and share knowledge and experience in mold cavity design, knowledge based engineering （KBE） is introduced into the design process.Feature technology and knowledge engineering are fully applied in this system.Feature technology is used to integrate design information in all design phases and knowledge engineering is dedicated to solve the problem of sharing knowledge and experience.A demonstration case is presented to show that KBE can effectively improve the design efficiency of mold cavity and accelerate the process of mold development.
