Discrete Logarithm-Based Watermark Detection Protocols

  • This paper proposed some discrete logarithm-based watermark detection protocols to tackle the problem of disclosing sensitive information like the watermark and the embedding location in the conventional watermark detection scheme. In the protocols, the watermark was hidden in the modular exponential. The standard correlation decision between the watermark and the digital work was converted into its equivalent.By showing that the equivalence is satisfied, the prover convinced the verifier of the presence of the watermark. With the assumption that computing discrete logarithm is intractable, the protocols do not reveal any sensitive information and are proven to be of zero-knowledge.
