The Upper Logical Definition of Structured Entities in Engineering DBMS

Due to the complexity of design objects,it is necessary for the EDBMS to treat complex data structures as single entities and provide the efficient facilities for data manipulation. This paper describes the facilities to this end by the MEDAMS ( Multi-user Engineering DAtabase Management System), i.e,, method for defining upper logical schema and facilities for manipulating the data with structured entities.
