A New Clustering Algorithm for Color Quantization and Its Applications

Two approaches of generating offset surface of helicoid is proposed： directly from helicoid，and from the offset section curve．Aconcept of section offset surface is introduced．The relationship of two offset surfaces is discussed．Finally，an example illustrates their difference．
