Based on semantic web technologywe developed a prototype system named Swirrsmespecially designed for the acquisition of manufacturing resource and intelligent retrieval.Relying on manufacturing ontology as the semantic and reasoning platformthe system proposes a mult-i hierarchy retrieval model to support the intelligent retrievalalong with three different types of user interaction interface.
