GENERATION OF COMPLEX CURVED SURFACE AND ITS APPLICATION IN ENGINEERING

A method for complex curved surface expressed by solid model is presented in this paper. Taking the internal surface of draft-tube in hydropower station as an example, it is pointed that the computer aided drawing of the complex curved surfaces with the same constructure but different dimensions can be realized by using a typical parameterized solid model. The model is established according mainly to the constructure of the surface but taking the dimensions as parameters.
