  • FBS（function-behavior-state） model describes cognition process in design.It has three levels： function,behavior and state.Function is integrated with behavior through FB relations. Behavior and state are combined by BS relations.A FBS-based model for creative design is presented,and the analogy-based reasoning for creative design is also discussed.
