We consider that the discrete loci of a line are composed of a series of horizontal displacements or diagonal displacements,which can be easily determined from an iteration formula.Based upon the formula,a new single-slice and mult-i slice line drawing algorithm is proposed.Both experimental results and analysis show that this algorithm greatly reduces the computation of line drawing and accelerates the line drawing process.
