Conception and Modeling Method of Stream Curve

Abstract
For modeling plane curve with definite hydromechanical meanings,a kind of function curve, stream curve,was defined.Under the condition of inviscid,potential and incompressible flow,the stream function of a uniform stream flow over a solid surface was expressed as a curved surface.The correspondence between the control boundary of a stream function curved surface and the stream curve was investigated. Then the method of stream curve modeling with the uniform stream coming flow was presented.An instance was given by means of the numerical solution for the first boundary value inverse problem of Laplace’ s equation.The result shows that the definition and the modeling method of the stream curve can be used for the modeling of plane curves related to flow,the stream curve contains the information of flow field,and the hydromechanical performance of the stream curve can be primarily assessed.
