Dynamic Analysis and Simulation of Hybrid-Driven Mechanical Press for Precision Drawing

  • A study to model, simulate and control precision press driven by a combination of DC motor and brushless servomotor is presented. Mathematical model for the hybrid-driven press is developed using Lagrange's equation. According to the equivalent circuit of DC motor and brushless servomotor, their dynamic model and negative feedback model are developed separately. Simulation results verified the feasibility of hybrid-driven approach.
