Abstract
Abstract Aiming at the design problems of FMS, this paper presents a Function/Behaviour/ Structure model-based design strategy and, based on this strategy, constructs a hybrid knowledge-based/optimization FMS design system. This system is constituted of knowledge base, models and algorithms base, resource classes base, dynamic data base and simulator. This modular and integrated system can not only make simulation analysis of different design results, but also contribute to reducing the cycle of FMS design problems.
