An Extension Matter-Element Model of Product Family for Mass Customization

At first, a basic matter-element product family is built with the classical triple-view. Then, by using the extensibility of matter-element such as dispersing, expendability, conjugacy and correlation, the product family extension set is established. Accordingly the basic matter-element product family expands to the extension matter-element product family. At the end, an example of cathode system of electrostatic precipitator under the new architecture is given to illustrate relevant enable technologies for the matter-element methods mentioned. The standardization and reusability of the product family are enhanced by contrasting the new matter-element model with the generic model of product family.
