Research on the Transaction Commit Mechanism for Distributed Engineering Database System

Since the ACID properties of transaction in distributed engineering database differ from that in conventional one, the Basic Two-Phases Commit (B2PC) protocol no longer fits it. Based on the nested model we established a structure for transaction management in a distributed engineering database. We also proposed a new Two-Phases Commit protocol with detailed description of its principle， algorithms and ways to handling failures.
