AN ALGORITHM OF APPROXIMATING LINESEGMENT AND CIRCULAR ARCS AND ITS APPLICATION IN VECTORIZATION OF ENGINEERING DRAWINGS

  • This paper gives an algorithm for obtaining linesegment and circular arcs by approximating data points and its rigorous proof. As the advantage of the algorithm, it gives the explicit formula of linesegment and circular arcs. Moreover, the algorithm's application in vectorization of engineering drawings is discussed.
