Fractal Interpolation Surface

A kind of fractal interpolation function defined by IFS with the translation function not using Lipschitz form is discussed. The theorem of sufficient and necessary condition for its continuity is proved. Meanwhile the methods to construct iterated function system that generates a continuous surface interpolating given curves or data on grid points are derived from these conditions. It can be used in data fitting and fractal modeling.
