Abstract
Routing of cables are planned by the designer interactively during virtual prototyping of an apparatus,resulting in a geometric model of the whole wiring system represented as NURBS curves.A robotic snake approach is applied to generate the physical model of cables,using inverse kinematics to compute the bending angles of a cable lengthwise.
