INVERSELY SOLVING THE PARAMETER AND INNER WEIGHT OF A STANDARD-FORM RATIONAL QUADRATIC BEZIER CURVE

  • Given three non-collinear control vertices and a point on a conic inside the convex hull of the vertices, a standard-form rational quadratic Bezier curve can be determined. This paper provides some simple and efficient methods for inversely solving the parameter of the point and the inner weight, which avoid the instability in numerical calculation.
