Generalized Optimization Design Techniques over Internet

A practical architecture is presented,with which the optimization design resource can be merged into a knowledge service provided to the remote designers.Some key problems of this system, namely remote modeling,algorithm integration,process control,concurrency control,are discussed. Both the solutions and the system framework are implemented on CORBA.A prototype of Internet-oriented generalized optimization system is developed and applied to product optimal design.
